After I graduated, I started working as a content writer and a social media manager in two different agencies, both of which are going pretty well. As I move further, I want to acquire new skills, which will open new career paths in my life. I have had a keen interest in fashion for as long as I can remember, and one of the things that I am interested in doing is writing fashion-related content for a recognized magazine soon and perhaps opening my own digital agency. While studying journalism, I learned that we live in a world where many of us are unaware of the difference between authentic and politically edited news. Especially in Pakistan, where "We have a free press" is just a saying. The various platforms we use to learn the daily news are highly edited and improvised by the government. Thus, biased and inaccurate news generates ill-informed opinions among the masses. They don't realise that the opinions that they form are the opinions that the government wants them to form. This is what we were taught by our political science teacher in university. That is when I decided to be a journalist. I want to know every piece of news firsthand so that no one can control my opinion.
