Since past few decades human depending on electrical devices has been increased. So it has increased energy demand as well to tackle this issue governments has introduced peak hours (when demand is high) and off hours. As prices of electricity is high during peak hours. It has increased price of bill for consumer. Consumer need to reduce demand during peak hours somehow.
