Muhammad Usman (i16-0493) 
 
It’s an honor to secure my name on the list of high achievers in FAST –  National University of 
Computer and Emerging Sciences (NUCES) Islamabad batch 16 of Electrical Engineering. I am 
grateful and happy to have my name on it. 
I had a clear vision about the career that I wanted to pursue after college. I wanted to be an 
electrical engineer; hence, I opted for alike career opportunities. FAST - NUCES is one of Pakistan’s 
most reputable and academically disciplined institutes; being part of it is an honor and a 
memorable part of my life. Time spent in FAST has been challenging; tough routines crush you, but 
so does life. Achieving such an honor despite hardships and difficulties is something I cannot 
describe in words. Managing your name in High Achievers’ List is like winning despite life’s crushing 
routines and callings. Failures are inevitable but behind every failure, an opportunity to succeed is 
always present. Not giving up and fighting back is the secret to success. I have learned that during 
my time in FAST-NUCES. 
One thing I would highlight here is the sacrifices of my parents and the efforts of my teachers. Their 
sacrifices and efforts have shaped my personality and I owe my achievements to them.
