Interests / quote
For me there are only two outcomes: either I achieve targets, or I learn. Failure, I think, is not a suitable word for anyone who is willing to work hard.

Muhammad Haris Farooq (i17-0523) With great joy and pride, I am able to say, I have been one of the few students from batch 17-EE to get medals based on their academic performance. Off to a not-so-impressive start, I never imagined myself to be amongst the medalists. After listening to seniors, what I idealized was a decent GPA of 3+. The wish to be amongst the medalists never tempted me or I never wanted to leave my comfort zone and study extra hard to get beyond that. This continued until the result of my 4th semester when my CGPA took a hit and it fell far below the standard of a decent GPA. So, a bit disturbed, I realized that I must work better next semester to compensate for this result. This thirst, I believe, was the driving factor for me to reach the ranks of medalists. For me, it is not all about studies. I am a firm believer in indulging in societies, sports, declamation, etc. along with studies. I strongly advocate my fellows or juniors participate in co-curricular and extracurricular activities as these things really nourish you as a person. I believe it is all about management as I managed my studies alongside being involved in societies from the start of my studies. I took the responsibility of Vice President of NUES and FCSS, hosted a parliamentary debate event so it is not only to excel at studies but develop professional skills for which I can proudly say FAST provides excellent platforms. So, taking advantage of this stage, I just want to say to everyone if you think you can achieve a certain goal, and work hard for it you will certainly be able to achieve it. Plan out and manage things efficiently, consult your seniors who guide you instead of demotivating you, and lastly work hard for your goals. For me there are only two outcomes: either I achieve targets, or I learn. Failure, I think, is not a suitable word for anyone who is willing to work hard. In the end, I would really like to thank FAST NUCES for providing me with an opportunity to have a memorable time. Yes, the journey was tiring but a straightforward journey does not stay in memories. I am forever grateful to each and every teacher, they are the real heroes for me. Stay blessed everyone and I hope this inspires you to be better than where you are today.
