My journey to FAST and within FAST has been one of its own kind and something that I had never experienced before and something that will remain with me forever. Back In summer of 2018 when I had almost completed my International Baccalaureate (IB) and when it was time I applied in several universities for my bachelors, FAST was one of those universities where I applied but never thought of actually studying here. Few days later when I got accepted and saw my name in the merit list, I decided to join FAST because it was in town and my only option left and 4 years later, I can proudly day I have no regrets about my decision. Since the first day I joined to this very moment, time has passed by so quickly that sometimes the mind isn't ready to accept that I am almost done with the bachelors degree. I was told FAST is a very tough and tiring experience especially the degree I opted for Accounting and Finance which is true but this is also what taught me a lot, how to manage my time, how to deal with stress, how to embrace challenges and much more. What kept me going was the alumni of FAST, their experiences and their testimonies about how studying here taught them so much and led to where they were today. All those social events like concerts, bonfires, adventure galas and all the interesting projects where we interacted with numerous experienced people and got a chance to interview them, all these activities allowed me to experience something beyond pure academics and enhanced my learning experience. ,These four years have been so memorable despite all the ups and downs. All thanks to the wonderful friends and the cooperative teachers I had throughout the program who inspired me to give my best efforts and have an amazing learning experience. Today, I am very proud to be a FASTIAN because I feel more groomed and polished as a person, I feel more confident and better version of myself as compared to when I first joined FAST. I will always cherish these moments and will be looking forward to applying all the skills and knowledge I gained from this institution in my real life.
