I came back to Pakistan in 2014 to finish my A-Levels in Pakistan. To my surprise, I got to know that I may not be eligible for the year 2015 to take admission in any of the university due to some rules that A-Levels students have to follow. With Allah Almighty’s grace the issue was resolved and I got the permission to take admission tests. From beginning, I always loved taking Math’s, Physics, Chemistry and my passion was to pursue an engineering degree. So, I started taking admission tests and results were not what I expected. I got admission in fields which I was not interested in, and one of them was Computer Science degree from FAST-Islamabad. As a result, I took a decision to wait for a year and work hard for what I am aiming for. This year was a year of learning for me, from learning about myself to learning about my surroundings. Time passed and I was again taking admission tests, but results were similar. This year again I got admission in FAST-Islamabad and without thinking I said yes to the opportunity. In my first semester I was working just for the sake to take a degree. However, slowly I developed my interest in Computer Science field and this interest also impacted my results. I started realizing that this is the field I am more interested in and whatever happened was part of Allah’s plan. After spending four years in FAST and facing all the challenges, now I can say that I am a stronger person. In FAST not only I learned about Computer Science but also about different aspects of life from my amazing friends and teachers. Allah planned best for me, I cannot say what would have happened If I was in engineering field but what I can say is that I am in better place now.
