Modelling Internet of Things Behaviour with Business Process The main idea of this project is to model IoT behavior with business process to make real world applications and minimizing the need to program IoT devices. The hardware side of the project consists of IoT devices including ESP32 and sensors (DHT11 or DHT22). Main view consists of the business process design. First of all, user designs the business process diagram. Business process diagram consists of start and end points, different type of tasks and connections between them. All of these components are available in side panel, and can be simply drag and dropped to design a diagram. After completing the designing phase, the next view is registration and task assignment. In task assignment view, for every task in the business process diagram an IoT device is selected and the function to be performed using that device is selected. There is a section for each task in task assignment view. These sections can be added or removed according to the number of total tasks in the diagram. After completion the form is submitted and the business process diagram executes on the IoT devices. AI enrichment
Ijaz Ali is a BSCS graduate who developed an IoT modeling system using Java, C++, and jBPM to map business processes to hardware tasks. The project involved designing a drag-and-drop interface for business process diagrams and assigning IoT device functions to specific tasks.
