I passed my pre-engineering exams and started applying for Bachelors of engineering at multiple universities. I was fully confident that I’ll be able to secure the admission at NUST. But unfortunately, I wasn't able to get admission due to less marks in the second part of pre engineering. Then I started researching multiple fields and ended up on CS. I applied at FAST NU and this time, as failure teaches me a lot of lessons. I tried my best and got admission at FAST NU in Computer Science. The day when I entered the campus, I was completely a different guy who didn't have much confidence and better communication skills. I started working hard and gave myself a tough time, not because I was afraid of F or warning, but just to improve myself in the term of communication skills and confidence. Even though initially I was not good at programming because I don’t have relevant experience in this field. But when I was able to build my confidence and improve communication skills. I set goals for learning programming. One thing that made me think was “would I be able to learn programming?” At that point I challenge myself and start exploring, making friends that are good at programming. After 3th semester I was able to learn programming completely and improve myself in the computing courses as well. After fulfilling this goal, I set a new goal for getting Dean List honor. I was successfully able to get a place in Dean’s List. Onwards I started acquiring some desirable work skills that were essential to have in today’s market by learning and doing multiple internships. As I learned things, I was getting more grip on myself and skills. After 5th semester I changed the way I approach things by learning from my friends. I adopt this approach from medal holders, they learn things not for temporary time but for lifetime. The liquefaction of this habit in me leads me to get a Medal in 6th, 7th semester. My academic journey at FAST NU really gave a good enjoyment of study life. FAST NU makes me capable of taking challenges, it does teach me the things related to the software industry, how to polish my skills, how to learn new things, most importantly how to live a better life and make things easier for others.
