VIP Eye (Visually Impaired Person’s Eye) 
 
 As stated by the name of the project, VIP Eye is an android application made especially for the 
 visually impaired people to help them navigating in the outside world. The application uses Speech- 
 To-Text and Text-To-Speech to communicate with the person. The user will first set the destination 
 and optionally any criteria for the route, like there should be a mosque or a park in the route. The 
 app will confirm the details provided and calculate the best route using path selection algorithms 
 and mapbox services. Then the user starts walking, and using the mobile’s camera the application 
 will detect obstacles in their path and inform the user. 
 Features include:  
 • Application will be able to determine the best route based on the criteria set by the user 
 • Using the device’s camera, the application will detect obstacles and inform the user 
 • The application will communicate using voice commands 
 • It can be used by people of all ages. 
 • It has uses in medical field. 
 • It will help people become independent.
