Final Project: Implementation of 36 MVAR STATCOM For Voltage Stabilization by Reactive Power
Power System is exposed to several internal and external disturbances which can be of steady state nature or
transient nature. Our project considers the transient disturbances and provides a solution to compensate the
transient-effect by injecting extra reactive power.
Semester Projects:
Implementation of Self-Switching Power Supply.  Designed a power supply that gives a variable regulated voltage
and switches off in no load condition, through the arrangement of voltage regulator, transistors and relay, output
voltage varied from 3.7 to 9 V.
Home Automation.  Designed an embedded system for controlling home’s appliances such as lights, cameras, security
system, temperature sensor and fire alarm system through Bluetooth for small distance and GSM module for long
distance. Tool Used: Atmel®, Proteus® and Matlab®.
National Grid Design in ETAP®.  Designed and simulated National grid in ETAP®. It is based on ring structure Power
transmission along with all protection scheme i.e. Over Voltage, under frequency and differential protection etc.
Work Experience
Intern Engineer at Islamabad Electric Supply Company Limited (IESCO), Islamabad
Responsibilities: Operating circuit breakers and insulators for maintenance and load
shedding. Control panel handling and relays setting. Coordination with operation team for
pursuance of operational work
