Weapon Automation This project aims to design a smart weapon which uses hybrid technology, meaning it comprises of both software and hardware modules. Through this project we have made evolutional changes in the traditional weapon system and made them highly operator friendly. Our top priority is operator safety and security. We have worked on stopping the illegal use of weapons by using fingerprint sensor so that only authorized person can unlock the weapon and no one can illegally use the weapon. We ensure that our product gives full command over friendly fire in all conditions like jam- packed and darker battlefields with low visibility. Our objective is to make weapons secure without changing their dynamics. IR transmitter and receiver with main module and the helmet of a friend are used not to shot the friend during Close-Quarters Combat (CQB), which is a major issue in CQB. We also equipped the weapon with visual displays and switches to detect the target at the range of 0-180 degrees, so that corner shots can be taken in extreme circumstances without exposing to any serious threat. Technology Used: C++ Language, ARDUINO. Supervisor Name: Engr. Shehzad Ahmad Group Members: Ayesha Qaiser Hashmi (i17-0459)
