Single Input Multiple Output Smart Energy Meter

This project aims to design a smart energy meter with multiple output lines with the ability to
generate separate bill for each output. . The application of this meter will be in multi-story houses,
air-bnb’s and hotels. As for bill calculation in multi-story houses owners use sub-meters for each
portion and the installation of these sub-meters costs a lot. Our system will provide multiple
outputs with capability to calculate energy consumption bill of multiple users and therefore it will
be cost effective as the user will have to pay for the installation of only one meter.
Our system will be designed in such a way that even with electricity failure, it will retain the
system's information. Users can easily access its energy consumption information and predict
monthly billing through the mobile application. Owners can also allot a specific number of units to
residents and keep a check on them through the application.

AI enrichment

AD Memon is a student who collaborated on a capstone project to design a single-input multiple-output smart energy meter using Arduino and Proteus. The system aims to provide cost-effective, multi-user billing for residential and hospitality settings with mobile app integration and data retention during power failures.
