Zainab Javed (18I-0203) 
 
Four years ago, when I first walked into the halls of the University, I was scared, nervous, and 
anxious. We all had to figure out how we were going to fit in, in such a huge place. Now, four years 
later, I am leaving this place for a whole different world. It has been a long four years and a short 
four years. Long because of all the assignments, boring lectures, quizzes, and long nights trying to 
finish a project. Short because of the amazing people I met during this journey, the delightful 
memories, including the unforgettable trips, concerts, and all the amazing events. It truly has been 
an overwhelming and staggering experience. 
The journey at FAST was by no means easy and there were many times when I thought I wouldn’t 
reach this final line, but it has prepared me for the greater challenges ahead. Moreover, it has 
nurtured me to build a strong foundation for the next level. Under the guidance of my 
extraordinary teachers, I have achieved this milestone with great pride and integrity.  Hence, it has 
been an immense pleasure learning from the competent teachers and instructors, implementing 
real-time projects, and getting to know the wonderful people on campus throughout these 4 years. 
If I talk about my academic journey, I am extremely proud of how much I have achieved. Having 
made my parents proud has been the biggest achievement of all. Being on the high achievers’ list 
has been a thing of immense pride and pleasure.  
The idea of graduating college and having many options can be just as scary as graduating with no 
options, if not more intimidating. However, it is important to remember that everything is going to 
be alright, and whatever happens, it will be for a reason. This belief aids me in leaving all the 
worries to God only.
