Muzna Naeem (I18-0891) 
 
I, Muzna Naeem, am overwhelmed with joy and pride to call myself as a High Achiever at the 
National University of Computer and Emerging Sciences in the Electrical Engineering Department.
Stepping into FAST scared me due to the rumours surrounding it about how maintaining a good 
GPA is not a practice in here. Well, honestly it was the opposite for me. Yes, certainly the journey 
was a roller coaster ride full of lows and highs but one thing i can assure you all that GPA will come 
if you put your hard-work and enjoy what you are doing. 
Electrical Engineering wasn't a preference but after stepping into FAST it became a passion. Mainly 
due to the highly qualified professors who provide ceaseless support and keep one determined. It 
was due to their efforts and faith in me that I managed to pull myself through the pressure and 
ended up attaining excellent scores and grades in almost all courses.  
Well, another myth surrounding FAST that it’s all about studying needs to be cleared too. Apart 
from the academics, FAST provided me with uncountable opportunities be it working in societies at 
various positions or be it outshining in my sport "Volleyball ".  FAST gives you all!! To sum it all up, it 
was a phenomenal experience at FAST and one that i will appreciate for a lifetime. Lastly a piece of advice that I would like to share would be that have high aims no matter what others say, keep your head clear ,be adaptive to changes, and cling to all opportunities the university provides you with!
