Sawera Arshad (18I-0225) 
 
 When I first entered FAST I had no idea how unforgettable my journey would be here. As someone 
 who is soon graduating, I can feel all the memories flooding back of my last four years on this 
 campus, time has literally flown by! 
  I still remember my first week at FAST, everything was new and alien to me. Quizzes and 
 assignments were handed over to us on our first week, and the worst part was sitting through one 
 and a half hour lectures after being used to a forty-minute class in school! 
  The key to adjusting at FAST was to accept FAST for what it was and demonstrate perseverance no 
 matter how hard it got. I encountered every challenge with strength and knowledge that every challenge was just another opportunity to enhance my skills for the practical world. After I accepted FAST, I had no regrets or complaints because I soon realized I was right where I was supposed to be, and FAST was what I needed. FAST tremendously polishes you from a naïve person into a more mature graduate. Hence it has been incredible learning from the talented faculty members, executing real-time projects, and getting to know wonderful souls on campus throughout these 4 years. 
  My experience at FAST has also been remarkable because I did not limit myself to academics only and took part in every opportunity I saw. I enjoyed the campus experience to its fullest! From attending all fun-filled concerts, enjoying bonfires, making memories at exciting trips, carrying out the unforgettable NaSCon ’18 to serving as the Head of Operations- Fast Community Service Society and serving my teachers and juniors as Teacher’s Assistant, it has been an extremely overwhelming and fulfilling experience throughout! Through all these opportunities provided by FAST. I am not just taking back a BS (Accounting and Finance) degree but a network of amazing friends and mentors that can never be replaced, and unshaken confidence in my capabilities and intellectual grooming that differentiates me from what I was the day I stepped into this institution. 
  I believe that God is the best of the planners, and all this time, I was exactly where I was meant to be. If it wasn’t for this institution I wouldn’t have reached this far. I am grateful to FAST for providing me with this incredible journey that has shaped me into what I am today!
