IoT-Based Smart Egg Incubator This project aims to design and implement to cater problem of Improper management of environmental conditions such as temperature and humidity greatly affecting our production rate. Egg Incubators create an environment with ideal conditions for chicks to grow, performing the role of a broody hen. Our project will increase the production of A-grade chicks in a more efficient and economical way as well as allow us to remotely monitor them. The egg-hatching controller in starting will turn on the light with parallel processes. Initial conditions according to bird species will be selected. It will control the loads on the basis of temperature and humidity conditions saved in it. The controller will be connected to the relays (for the purpose of switching loads) through the MQTT server and also manually by using an application that is been connected through the cloud to the MQTT server using AWS. Trays will be rotating after every 6 hours and with being verified by a tilt sensor module for rotation occurrences. After every one-minute data will be getting stored in the database and EPROM to use for further purposes like monitoring, taking current data for default settings after power breakdown, and calculating survival and mortality rate. Technology Used: Ardiuno IDE , Visual Studio Code , AWS Mongo DB Supervisor Name: Dr. Ata Ullah Ikram Aziz Group Members: Khuzaima Khalil (i19-0762)
AI enrichment
Khuzaima Khalil is a student who developed an IoT-based smart egg incubator to automate environmental control and remote monitoring. The project utilized Arduino, AWS, and MongoDB to manage temperature, humidity, and tray rotation while storing data for analysis.
