SUMMSLIDES
Our project aims to make slides from the provided pdf document by extracting headings, subheadings and text from the document. The text in slides contains the summarized form of the text in pdf. By specifying the pages they wish to make notes on, users, particularly students and teachers, can convert lengthy chapters into brief yet informative slides with ease.
This project will prove immensely beneficial to students and educators alike, as it will eliminate the need for teachers to create separate slide decks for each chapter and enable students to prepare for exams more efficiently. Instead of reading entire chapters, students can upload the relevant pdfs onto our website, and our tool will automatically generate slides that highlight the main points of the chapter.
Overall, SUMMSLIDES offers an effective solution to the challenges of managing and digesting large volumes of information presented in theory-based textbooks and pdfs, making the process more streamlined and convenient.
