3D Temperature Visualization of a Data Center
Data centers are an essential part of telecommunication and computer systems as they are
responsible for data storage and processing. However, there are several issues that risk the data
stored in these centers. Servers due to long active hours, have a tendency to heat up. This can
cause server failure and data loss. To prevent this, air conditioning and perforated tiles are
installed to server rooms. Temperature variation inside a data center varies drastically compared
to a regular room. These problems can be avoided by analyzing variations of temperature using a
three-dimensional visualization of a data center.
The project requires temperature sensors connected to a Bluetooth Low Energy Module. These
BLEs are wirelessly connected to a gateway using Bluetooth Technology. The data visualized will
reveal the situation of temperature near the racks. The Gateway will be programmed to transfer
the data of the sensors to the loT Platform, using MQTT protocol. The loT Platform will be used to
insert these points into a database which we will then transfer to our backend application using
HTTP protocol. These points will be converted into a temperature gradient which will be used to
create a colored two-dimensional model and then a three-dimensional one using frontend
applications.
The aim is to provide a cheaper, cost effective and real-time solution for the prevention of server
failure.

Autonomous Shopping Cart
The project involves design and implementation of an autonomous shopping cart, which will
allow users to carry out the shopping process more efficiently as well as increasing sales for the
retailer. Traditional shopping carts are heavy and difficult to maneuver. Customers also face
difficulty getting information about products such as pricing, location, availability etc. This project
will solve all of these problems, allowing users to divert their attention from manually managing
the shopping cart.
The project aims to prepare an effective shopping cart prototype which can automatically track
and follow its target, while avoiding obstacles along the path and carrying a substantial weight.
The prototype will also be equipped with a touch LCD to provide user access to a database which
will provide all relevant information on products.

efficiency of retail operations, drive innovation in the retail market, create jobs and drive
economic growth.

Augmented Reality Based Indoor Navigation System
Project Description:
The aim of this project is to develop an augmented reality (AR) based indoor navigation
system that enables users to navigate through indoor environments with ease. The system will
utilize AR technology to provide users with a more interactive and immersive navigation
experience.
The system will consist of a mobile application that utilizes the camera on a smartphone or
tablet to overlay virtual markers and directions onto the real world, creating a more intuitive and
visual navigation experience.
Key Features:
1. Real-time positioning and orientation tracking: The system will use advanced positioning
technology, known as simultaneous localization and mapping (SLAM), to accurately
determine a user's location and orientation in real-time.
2. AR-based navigation: The system will use AR technology to overlay virtual markers and
directions onto the real world, making it easier for users to navigate through indoor
spaces.
3. User-friendly interface: The mobile application will have a user-friendly interface that
allows users to easily input their destination and receive step-by-step directions.
4. Multi-floor navigation: The system will be able to navigate through multi-floor buildings,
providing users with seamless navigation between floors.
