Thesis: Disaster response identification for multi-modal data using Text-Image Attention Layer Mechanism (Novel)"
In order to consume dual modality (image and text) data, simple concatenation technique is used on basis of multi-model
deep learning approach. However, simple concatenation technique does not hold all of the information and lack enrich
features which can create significant impact on training and results. The research provides a novel architecture which
comprises of transformers encoders and text-to-image attention layer. The model achieves 89% f1-score which is greater
than the state of the art result (84.2%). The research aims to contribute towards computer vision and nlp community.
