FAST SCHOOL OF MANAGEMENT Final Year Projects ole st baggy SLAMABAD CAMPUS TA ) “Recreational Rooftops” A feasibility study on converting underutilized rooftops into Rooftop Sports Arenas currently available. The study shows that there is a growing demand for sports facilities in urban areas, where space is limited, and unused rooftops present a unique opportunity for sports enthusiasts. The project proposes to target major urban centers in Rawalpindi and Islamabad, where the demand for sports facilities is high. The proposed arenas will be designed to accommodate a range of sports, including football, volleyball, and cricket, to cater to a diverse audience. It has grown in recent years, both in terms of the number of participants and market valuation. Because PSX is still in its early stages, researchers are continuously investigating many elements of it. In this study we examine the empirical nexus between the stock market index and its determinants i.e., exchange rate, gold prices, oil prices. The data will be time series collected on daily basis for the period of 15t January 2010 to 315t August 2022 from PSX-100 index. The data will be analyzed by using Markov Regime Switching and Bai Perron structural change approaches to find the breaks in the data. The results and overall conclusions will be provided once the research is complete. DETERMINANTS OF PAKISTAN STOCK MARKET RETURNS USING STRUCTURAL CHANGE APPROACH SUPERVISOR DR. Therefore, policymakers require an understanding of the working of these channels to be able to gauge the effect and timing of their decisions on true economy (Cevit and Teksoz, 2012). Theoretically, the impulses of monetary policy are transmitted to real economy through its various channels (Mishkin, 1996). However, existing literature has not fully explored the eventual impact of these channels on the ultimate variables of inflation and output (Tran, 2018). Our study will be focused on assessing the channels of monetary policy in a coherent framework and then test their comparative efficiency one at a time by limiting all of the other channels. Given our focus on inflation, we will target the interest rate, credit, asset price and exchange rate channels to study the effect of monetary policy impulses on inflation and output using SVAR. Along with that, we will trace the evolution of monetary policy through these channels over a period of time. Our research is especially directed at South Asian economies as they are facing climbing commodity prices, and vulnerabilities in their financial sectors. These South Asian help policymakers in achieving flexible inflation targeting and sustainable economic growth.
