Energy Consumption Monitoring and Electricity Bill Forecasting in a Net Metering System 
This project aims to design and implement an energy consumption monitoring and electricity bill forecasting system for net metering setups, which could become a crucial tool for efficient energy management in the future. The lack of real-time monitoring and forecasting solutions in the energy sector today leads to inefficient energy use and unexpected electricity costs. Through this project, we aim to introduce an innovative approach to energy tracking and cost estimation, helping consumers optimize electricity usage and manage their expenses effectively. 
Electricity consumption and cost management are critical concerns worldwide, especially with the increasing adoption of renewable energy sources. In many regions, improper energy monitoring leads to higher costs and inefficient utilization of grid power, impacting both consumers and utility providers. 
A net metering system allows consumers to both import electricity from the grid and export excess energy back to it, reducing overall costs. However, without proper monitoring, users cannot fully optimize this system. This project focuses on automating energy tracking, analyzing real-time consumption, and providing accurate electricity bill forecasts. By integrating real-time monitoring with automated forecasting, we aim to enhance energy efficiency, reduce wastage, and provide users with greater control over their electricity usage.
