Al & Blockchain Enabled Secure and Resilient Smart Power Grid project focuses on a hardware-based cyber security solution for our critical power grid · nfrastrncture. It provides two-layer protection with its own Intrusion Prevention System as well as trusion Detection System. It mainly targets the transit phase of data communication. It combines he best of different technologies such as bJockchain, Al, and encryption technique to maintain data security and integrity. This project also provides a testbed for cyber testing of system with an in- ouse attack system designed to test its vulnerabilities in real-time. This is a prototype which has pplicalion far beyond power grids. his project involves 2x Raspberry Pi 5, Ix Nvidia Jetson Orin Nano, Ix RSP-J2 Microcontroller. All these are connected over a private wireless network. A private light weight blockchain is used "th SHA-256 hashing algorithm, along with that ChaCha-20 encryption is used that is designed for mb edded computing. In second stage, an A1iificial Intelligence based Anomaly detection model is sed to screen each inbound data packet for its validity removing the risk of any attack on edge his model can be applied to any control system that communicates over digital medium especially he lnternet. lt has application in healthcare, defense, financial sector and many more.
