Professional Profile
A highly motivated and passionate Software Engineering student with great
interest and expertise in machine learning and deep learning, possessing
excellent interpersonal abilities and a dynamic skill set.
Education
BE Software Engineering
School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (SEECS) , 3.58
Internship Experience
WWF-Pakistan ( 20-Aug-2020 - 21-Sep-2020 )
Advocated in a digital campaign to raise awareness about the excessive use of plastic in Pakistan.
Conducted online surveys to deduce the impact of plastic pollution. Put forward solutions to reduce
the consumption of plastic in Pakistan.
The Citizens Foundation ( 02-Aug-2021 - 20-Aug-2021 )
Mentored TCF students enabling them to secure admissions in the best universities in Pakistan.
Motivated students and strengthened their abilities in Math for entrance exams.
Optical Networks and Technologies Lab, SEECS, NUST ( 03-Aug-2022 - 04-Oct-2022 )
Developed a reinforcement learning algorithm to efficiently solve routing, wavelength and spectrum
assignment problem by reducing the blocking probability.
Projects
Leveraging Machine Learning for Pooling Package Delivery Resources - Final Year
Project (9/2022 - 4/2023)
Find an optimal delivery path for a drone considering the priority of the delivery and the battery
consumption rate (BCR) of the drone. Associate each delivery with a priority and time constraint using
machine learning. Discover the impact of temperature, wind resistance and ground elevation height
on BCR.
Image Segmentation Using U-Net for Self Driving Cars (07/2022 - 07/2022)
Implemented U-Net for semantic image segmentation. Used images from a self-driving car dataset so
the model can predict which 'pixels' are safe to drive over.
Cyber-bullying and Harassment Detector (04/2022 - 06/2022)
Developed a natural language processing (NLP) model to detect hate speech, threats, bullying and
harassment on social media platform. Used Bidirectional Encoder Representations from Transformers
(BERT).
