Before I joined IBA, I was working with Wateen Telecom which is one of the largest ISP/ Telecom Service Provider in Pakistan. During my time at Wateen I felt that although BBA degree has helped me to start my career, but it surely does not offer the kind of growth I was aspiring for, so I started exploring my options. I looked for institutions which would not only give me edge over others but also fulfill my passion to learn and explore. I came across many options but IBA-Karachi was the best option I had. IBA is the oldest business school outside North America and has maintained and even improved its standards throughout decades. This vision of IBA, Leadership and Ideas for Tomorrow actually compliments my life's vision to become a successful professional in my life and therefore it compelled me to leave my home town and become a part of IBA.

I was really excited to join IBA because they have very strong educational model and as it is the one of institutes in Pakistan which has mandatory working experience policy for MBA admission. This policy augmented our learning in two ways; in class, we could easily relate theory to corporate world, and interactions with other class fellows who are source of knowledge about their relevant professional experience. I personally believe IBA is not only an educational institute but also an incubation center for students as they have many opportunities in extra and co curricular activities to learn, explore, and sharpen their skills under the supervision of experienced faculty advisors. Moreover, IBA has very strong alumni network across Pakistan. These Alumni become mentors and provide guidance during our professional career. I am honored to be a part of IBA community and will do my utmost to uphold the traditions and values of IBA.
