Prior to joining IBA, I was working as a Brand Manager in Rafi Peer Theater Workshop, an NGO which made me see the real culture of Pakistan and realize the true potential of those living here as a nation. My job required an enormous engagement with people rich in diverse artistic skills, which convinced me to believe in the true diversity which when put together, can do wonders. I believe in evolution and continuous evolution, be it a nation or an individual; that called a need to develop my already possessed potential and polish it to achieve great heights. With the intention of honing my skills and being able to contribute to the growth of Pakistan, I decided to pursue a Masters degree. The MBA Program at IBA has an upper hand in providing both excellent managerial skills and career advancement. IBA is an institute that has risen and remained as the beacon of enlightenment during a period of transition for Pakistan. The ups and downs faced by IBA have made it what it is today, which might not be perfect but is so much closer in its journey to achieving its goals.

The standard of an institution is not measured by what it teaches or how it teaches; It is measured by what the students learn and how they implement it in their work place. IBA has proven time and again that its graduates not only meet expectations of the real world but in most cases exceed them. With the integrity, humility and discipline inculcated in me by this great institution, I hope that I am able to carry this legacy forward. In addition to my area of specialization, the MBA Program has offered me a variety of intriguing courses. This is particularly important because to be able to excel in any organization, it is imperative to have an understanding of how the various departments function. No functional area of an organization can succeed without the support of the others, just as no machine can work effectively until all its components work in harmony. IBA has taught me that despite having an area of expertise, one has to have a peripheral vision to be able to cut through the noise and focus on a solution.
