After completion of my BBA degree I had a choice to either carry forward my studies or gain some experience and then pursue my MBA from a reputable University. I chose the later option and started working in PTCL, as Management Trainee. After gaining handful experience, and preparing myself for the entrance test, I applied and finally I am here part of IBA family.

I chose IBA for a number of reasons, first the legacy it holds and its consistency in providing the best academic services and quality education in Pakistan. Its commitment to excel in business education, and its vision, were the strongest appealing points for me.

At IBA, we were exposed to Case study methodology, that assisted us in understanding a variety of theoretical concepts. The healthy discussion and the experience shared by students from the diverse educational and industrial background helped a lot in understanding the challenges faced by different economic sectors of Pakistan.

Its pertinent to mention the support the Program Director provided, the knowledge shared by instructor, teachers’ interest in student development, and counseling sessions for a one to one interaction is of no match.

At IBA we are not only focused to academics, but for Development purpose IBA provides us a number of opportunities in improving our personal skills through extra-curricular activities. Through participation, students have a chance to plan, organize and manage events. Under the supervision of patrons. In the HR Summit 2012, students had a chance to interact with CEOs, and industry gurus to get to know the prevailing employment practices of the top MNCs, thus bonding industry and educational institutes together, All the tasks were carried out by the students, from contacting CEOs to designing the whole event.

Such initiatives help not only in gaining knowledge but also help to network with people from other educational institutes and industries. Through such initiatives I have been able to increase my social circle and I hope the relationship which I was able to make through will grow stronger in coming years.
