Learning engineering from NED University was indeed the prime task of my life and during that period, I was in a condition of self-esteem that I will build my career path according to the science I am learning. Although the study gave me a lot of skills and abilities to enter numerous kinds of enterprises yet I felt there was something missing.
Certainly, the big picture of any business environment was absent from my mind which could be accumulated/gathered only through MBA. For me the decision to do an MBA was a blessing. It clarified my concepts regarding macro features of the business environment. Had I not decided to go for MBA, I would never have been able to grasp how things happen related to business.
Pursuing MBA from IBA is yet another achievement for me since the oldest and the most reputable business school of Pakistan gave me an unprecedented exposure and confidence along with theoretical background of businesses. The strongest feature and the teaching methodology mix of both lecture plus case studies fascinated me a lot. Above all the strong brand name associated with IBA, will provide me with the flexibility to make changes throughout my career.
I am looking forward to the day when I will be using the "hard skills" of economics, finance, marketing, operations, management, and accounting, as well as the "soft skills" of leadership, teamwork, ethics, and communication that are so critical for effective management. I am sure the sound engineering background and awareness of the science of doing business will help me to bring about changes and will be beneficial for my organization. Acquiring important organizational responsibilities with the passage of time and achieving a reputable position is the prime task for me to achieve in my career.
