As an undergraduate from IBA, I enteredthe job market in search of achallenging yet a learning career. My personal grooming and the development of my business acumen at the undergrad level were great assets and provided me leveragein the corporate sector. My professional association with the financial sector provided me a great foundation to learn more about the industry and how it plays a vital role in the overall economy. To further grow professionally and bridge the gap in my career growth, I chose to come back to IBA to continue my education and equip myself with a Master’s degree.Being an alumnus, selecting IBAfor my higher studies was not a difficult decision at all. It was my pride to once again becomethe part of an institute having60 years of heritage and well-connected network of alumni. The case based learning method was the perfect way to complement my previous experience and also to gain insights from others. It was also quite a learning experience to interact with such a diverse mix of students coming from all industries and learning with them for an all rounded experience. Being a Marketing Professional,I see myself working in dynamic organizations, changing with the global environment and empowering their employees. With an educational background from the premier business school in Pakistan, alongside professional exposure in the financial sector, I am flexible at adapting to various environments and look forward to challenging opportunities. My business background and my passion for change management and new technology are qualities that will assist potential employers but I also seek to help the country make its mark on a global scale and fulfill its limitless potential.
