Interests / quote
After completing my BBA (Apparel manufacturing & merchandising) from Textile Institute of Pakistan, I ended up working with Target, the 2nd largest retailer in USA. Target gave me an enriching learning experience with respect to sourcing and international trade. While I enjoyed working, I was keen to go back to my studies and pursue my MBA degree. Since IBA is known for its excellent reputation and is one of the top business schools in the country, it was clearly my first choice for Master’s degree program. MBA has sharpened my critical analysis and decision making skills that were missing in my BBA program. It has given me opportunities to explore different fields, expand my horizon and learn from diversified group of people. It has helped in my professional as well as personal development. I have done MBA in marketing because it is a very creative field and has taught me to be innovative and unique, in many ways. During my tenure at Target, I received “Overseas All Star Award” from Headquarters for my flawless execution. I am a highly motivated individual and a team player who has worked as an inspiring marketing and merchandising associate with international brands. I am looking forward to apply all that I have learnt and experienced during my job and at IBA ,to an organization which will provide me a platform of opportunities to grow with them and in becoming a successful future leader.
