Sana Zahra Ahmed Marketing & Supply Chain Management 0334-3500944 sanazahraahmed@gmail.com Date of Birth: 24 Feb, 1988 As a young Pakistani student, I have always wanted to take Pakistan to international level of competence in terms of technology.E-commerce is one such field that has massive potential and scopefor growth to take our country towards advanced mode of business transaction in domestic and international affairs.Motivated to pursue studies, I opted to study Computer Science at the Bachelor Level, and Business Administration at the Masters Level. I took courses from Stanford Onlineto learn directly from people who lead innovation in technology. I conducted field projects which were evaluated online and encompassed identifying opportunities, gathering requirements, and designing interfaces. The courses were so comprehensive that they also helped me conduct market research and devise solutions for non-software products. These learnings have always helped me, be it on large scale projects like Contracts Management System at PIA or other smaller projects including websites of Inner Wheel Club Karachi, Muslim Students Association of the University of Hong Kong and an entrepreneurial client setting an ecommerce store. At IBA, while studyingtraditional courses, I automatically found myself applying that knowledge to online and mobile platforms where customers are known to spend most time. I learnt mobile marketing to effectively get to customers through the little screen that everyone carries and used consumer behaviour to track their preferences while surfing on sites. However, a company is nothing without its supply chainand my deep interest in the subject made me delve into every major supply chain course being offered at IBA. The magnificence of international chains and virtual organisations providing localised solutions to globalised problems made me study major successful supply chain solutions around the world and analyse how they could be implemented in Pakistan. Perhaps most valuable assets acquired through the learnings of MBA, are polishing my skills to lead and analyse situations from multiple perspectives. I have learnt to work withpeople of varying temperament and to empathise from all stakeholders perspectives instead of just a few. Most significantly, I have equipped myself with an invaluable experience, knowledge and tools which can be utilised to evolve and bring improvement in social and commercial environments. 2015 P-92 MBA 2015 Institute of Business Administration, Karachi 3.29* BSc 2011 Institute of Business Administration, Karachi 3 Com.
