A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step. I completed my BBA (HONS.) from IBA in 2011, and took with myself some remarkable
learning experiences that helped me to significantly contribute to the corporate sector. During my career, I had exposure to demanding clients and my
experience in Brand Management, Advertising and Public Relations helped me develop an appreciation for diversity, creativity and challenges.However,
I felt that to develop further, an additional MBA degree from a reputable institution was necessary and this led me back to my alma mater.
My earlier professional experience created a new urge to further enhance my marketing and overall business management skills. Having studied at the IBA, I
have observed how the MBA students’ education blends with passionate teaching, active learning, specialized knowledge and professional development to
boost their career potential. Upon completion of an MBA education, graduates are able to demonstrate a keen managerial understanding of business disciplines,
integrate the functional areas in the analysis of strategic management issues, incorporate ethical considerations and global perspectives in decision-making,
and work in a team-based, competitive environment that emphasizes leadership, group problem solving and consensus-building skills.
The MBA program has not only helped me to hone the soft skills required to be a good manager, but also allowed me to specialize further in the field of Marketing
and broaden my perspective. By attracting students from various industries and diverse backgrounds, the program provided me with an opportunity to develop
an appreciation for diversity. The Dubai Study Tour that I embarked on as a part of the Marketing Management course allowed me to interact with and learn
from senior-level executives in renowned organizations. My personal objective is to transmute and lead in an organization that thrives on creative marketing
and a managerial approach, with a constant edge towards building change and enhancing people’s lives. My experience and education have helped me to
deliver results in a fast-paced and competitive environment, and I consider myself well-prepared for the challenges that await me.
