real examples of businesses in Pakistan, was necessary to understand and, later in life, develop context specific solutions which address the problems
faced by businesses inPakistan.
The beauty of education is that it gives us terms and theories to identify and label conditions, processes, attitudes, behaviors, individuals and groups.
My high school subjects provided me a chance to read about many great scientists and logicians who contemplated upon the laws of reality centuries
ago. What impressed me about them were two things: first, they were all self-made; and second, they were not confined to only one area of knowledge, e.g. Aristotle, Newton, Einstein and Di Vinci were not only great physicists; but also great mathematicians, logicians, musicians, astrologists and painters.
One individual made contribution to many related fields of knowledge. Such an influence made me realize that the study of any particular subject of
interest in relation to other related subjects contributes to a deeper understanding of it.
The corporate world could thus better be understood provided that such understanding was subject to cross functional information. My reason to get
admission in IBA Karachi was more than just to get a Master’s degree. I believed, and have experienced that this business school and its teaching methods, specifically the method of teaching case studies, which function like parables and stimulate visual concentration, have developed in me enough ability to understand, relate, and apply the models of management locally and globally.
Looking forward, based on the knowledge and values acquired on personal, academic, and professional levels, my mission is to become one of the
wisest marketing professionals in Pakistan, with the strategic intent to contribute in the global landscape.
