After completing my bachelors in business administration, I spent 2 years managing brands online for a digital marketing agency where I got a
first-hand experience of working with branding and marketing departments of consumer goods concerns. This opportunityprovided me the chance to
observe marketing efforts and strategies up close. My interest in marketing grew beyond the digital scope and I wanted to get hands-on experience in
crafting, executing and monitoring marketing strategies.
I felt that after gaining knowledge and experience in the digital marketing sphere, I was looking into advancing my knowledge for management of overall
marketing efforts. In order to do so, I decided to pursue a Master’s degree in Business Administration at the IBA with a major in Marketing. IBA was
my premier choice, because it is the best business school in Karachi. Before applying, I spoke to IBA graduates who attributed their acumen, capabilities
and confidence to their time spent at the business school. With IBA’s long and cherished history of developing the best business leaders, I felt that I
am in good hands.
The MBA program at IBA has provided me great learning opportunities with hands-on experience in business research, event management and team
management. There is a high emphasis on case study discussions in the classroom for all courses. The case study method of learning encourages
critical and lateral thinking among students. The discourse in the classroom has been helpful in not just applying textbook knowledge but also incorporating
ourprofessional experiences.Besides excellent curriculum, IBA is a hub of multiple societies and clubs where studentsengage into various activities
as per their interests toenhance their inter-disciplinary experience.Both the academics and campus activities have enriched my experience.
