Interests / quote
Substance, style, content and delivery are, in my opinion, four key traits which extremely successful individuals possess. I am an individual who is willing to learn and strive to develop each aspect, and regularly interact with and learn from exceptional individuals. In this quest to improve myself, I felt that that the considerable theoretical knowledge gained from my bachelor’s degree, coupled with the business understanding developed at a professional level, would be further strengthened with a Master’s degree, which would provide me essential technical and personal skills required to be successful in high-pressured situations within a corporate setting. Having an MBA from IBA has consolidated my skills matrix and has equipped me with management skills, which are critical to my professional development and growth as an individual. While the MBA degree has traditionally been seen as springboard for corporate success, I believe that it is the quality of the degree and the awarding institution which matters more than its name. By studying at an institution such as IBA, I have broadened my skill base and crafted my employability skills in a much more effective manner which will be an asset to prospective employers. I have always felt that it is important for me to maintain a practical, real-world perspective while developing my academic abilities. As my profile indicates, I have over the course of my studies been employed in a wide range of positions within a diverse group of organizations. I have gained a great deal of practical experience and insight into people management, time management, effective communication and an understanding of consumer behavior. I am looking for an opportunity which will allow me to use the quantitative, qualitative and technical skills I have developed during my MBA experience at IBA. I am confident that I can use my skills set and experiences to make my time a positive and productive one for the organization and myself.
