Interests / quote
I want to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has been part of my life’s journey in general and at IBA in particular. Speaking of which I believe it is the journey that teaches you a lot about your destination. Being part of IBA is a matter of great privilege for me; I had the opportunity to seethe transformation process under visionary leadership of Dr. Ishrat. While I was working, it occurred to me that it takes more than being technically sound to run a successful business particularly when it comes to managing resources in such a way that business is sustainable. Most of my work experience is in the area of internet service provision which is highly technology driven sector. I realized that engineering and finance personnel are usually at cross purposes when it comes to resource allocation. This motivated me to pursue master’s degree with focus on finance as I believe it is the language of business and its challenging nature appeals to my intellectual curiosity. After undergoing academic rigors of MBA, I feel I am now in a better position to analyze and evaluate business decisions. Learning is a lifelong process but with growing uncertainties around us there is too much to absorb in too little time. Given that ideal is a moving target for me;I expect to assume a challenging position preferably in a strategic role where I can demonstrate my tacit knowledge and develop strategic management skills while contributing to the success of organization.
