Interests / quote
After my graduation, I joined fellowship program at Teach For Pakistan, an organization committed to making future leaders for Pakistan in order to eradicate the education inequity in low income areas. As a fellow, my responsibilities include making yearly, unit and lesson plans to organize my efforts towards a certain learning goals for all my students. In addition, I am also required to study and analyze the data thoroughly to inform my practices and techniques to reduce the academic achievement gap within the classroom. During my fellowship I was fortunate enough to identify my skills which are very much aligned with administrative work and hence I am pursuing my Master’s in Business Administration.
While doing MBA at IBA, I was selected for a short course on “How to do business in India” and Visited Indian School of Business, Hyderabad and Mohali Campuses. I was also selected to study my second semester of MBA from University Malaya, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia as an exchange student. During my stay in Malaysia, I was handpicked by Director, University Malaya Center of Innovation & Commercialization for Internship in the market research department. Moreover, I am office bearer of IBA Marketing Club and performing duties as Manager of the Club. Recently, I Organized and Chaired IBA Branding & Advertising Conference 2016 (IBAC 2.0) which gave a huge exposure to my Organizing, Analytical & Marketing skills.
Studying MBA from IBA is indeed a blessing that I leveraged to learn the complexities of business. During the two years of my time at IBA, I came across several different subject related to Psychology, Branding, Market Research and Advertising that provided me all what I wanted to do. I feel that I will be able to work in different environments and adapt to diverse areas in the company as I have been able to develop effective managerial skills during my MBA at IBA. I would willingly accept challenges in the future as I want to excel in my career and work for the success of the organization as well as for the betterment of the society.
