While doing MBA I realized that in order to climb the career ladder, it is important to determine one’s passion. This is the reason I have chosen marketing to be my future as it not only fuels my interest but also drives me to take the challenges in this field. I have already taken all the basic courses of Marketing, and some electives which have prepared me for all the functional aspects of marketing; however, marketing is much more than that. It is an art of making a strategy and implementing it according to the external environment. Hence I need to be able to look at the field with a holistic view and plan things with a vision and strategy. For this reason I am determined to work in an organization which can help me learn and grow professionally and also utilize my maximum potential. In several capacities, I have been able to develop my interpersonal skills during my extracurricular activities and the numerous team projects while doing both BBA and MBA from IBA. In addition to all of that interning at GSK has helped me develop competency and efficiency in the business world. Teach for Pakistan taught me flexibility and patience as interacting with under-resourced communities and enduring every possible obstacle has made me a strong in the art of dealing with pressure, disappointments and authority. I am ready to give kick my career as soon as an opportunity arises and stretch myself to every limit possible so that I can develop both personally and professionally.
