I was getting through this phase comparing pros and cons of both Pakistan’s top business institutions. After deep thoughts I chose IBA for MBA back in December 2013. My decision proved to be right as IBA provided me quality education, dynamic learning environment, exposure to corporate world and business leaders at 25% cost might be incurred at LUMS. My decision to pursue MBA after working for five years on different brands like Levi's, Walmart, Adidas etc. was to develop and maintain competitive edge. Before coming to IBA I was experiencing through small incremental changes helping out in my career but this premier institution induced transformational change in my soul. It changed my attitude altogether by unleashing my real potential and now I am able to visualize the world in different manner. The culture, quality education, life style, environment and system of IBA cultivated abilities to look at the every facet of life and especially corporate world from macro to micro level and to analyze critically to solve the conundrums. During my MBA, IBA provided me the opportunities to work for my country through working on “The World Bank Project to develop Textile Trade policy for Pakistan” and to make feasibility report on Pakistan-Thailand Free Trade Agreement. Additionally, we as a team of 05 students’ secured 1st position in Strata Quest (Business simulation game) held at KSBL where Pakistan’s top business schools participated. IBA provided favorable circumstances to work on different projects of top company’s like- Unilever, EBM, Nestle, K-Electric, Meezan Bank, PSO, Shell, Caltex, Colgate Palmolive and Sanofi Aventis etc. In future, I want to be the part of any business organization having strong shared values considering primarily the customers, employees and shareholders. Because I believe by taking care of your stakeholders, growth is automatically achieved.
