Interests / quote
IBA is a grad school which not only nourishes its students but also helps them transform their dreams into reality by providing them with ample opportunities to pursue their dreams. My paradigm of becoming an entrepreneur led me to the MBA program at IBA and it has helped me to understand the purpose of doing business while managing for all stakeholders. Before joining IBA, I learnt the technical side of business while studying ACCA and then gaining practical experience for 3 years. I found the practical experience requirement at IBA to be beneficial to the students as we were able to learn from each other coming from different backgrounds. The case study discussions always helped us to look at new ways of dealing with difficult scenarios and further gave us the opportunity to learn from each other. Overall, it was a great ride as in addition to the academic learning, I was able to make a great network with the leaders of tomorrow! I have always liked organizations that are boundary-less, encourage leadership rather than management and mutual learning environment which fosters individual development and ultimately leads to organizational development. Working for a company which develops my personality as a leader rather than a manager will be my top priority.
