Interests / quote
Being an alumnus of IBA, naturally, my institution of choice, for pursuing my MBA, was IBA. My academic experience at IBA, coupled in the extracurricular activities I was able to participate in, provided the solid foundation that I needed to secure gainful employment at one of the leading financial institutions of Pakistan, Allied Bank Limited right after BBA. During my time at IBA, I was provided with the knowledge, insight, tools and skills that I found absolutely critical in the real-life workplace. In the role of Relationship Manager within the Financial Institutions department, I found the knowledge gained as part of my Finance specialization allowed me to fully comprehend that which I help achieve for the function and the bank. This understanding lead me to perform better as well as undertake a number of inter-departmental and cross-functional projects. Alongside, I have also worked as an in house trainer thereby imparting my academic as well as technical knowledge to new entrants. In light of the foregoing I started my MBA program again at IBA but this time in a professional capacity. Being a full time student, I felt that the MBA Morning Program allowed me the opportunity to focus fully on furthering my academic qualifications through immersive studies in the subjects of my choice. My work experience has also provided me insights into my own scholastic aptitude, and my strengths and weaknesses. With these hindsight and vision, I hope to return back to the corporate world with a more pragmatic and practical approach. Having achieved my academic interests, I am once again looking forward to stepping into the corporate world and leaving behind a mark that IBA has stamped me with. I seek to work for organizations so as to apply my learning coupled with my past experience in a more mature manner. I seek to work for organizations regardless of their size but for the strategic intent that they have for their survival. My ultimate goal is to work for the better future of Pakistan in which I have the utmost faith.
