Interests / quote
I feel pursuing a degree in business administration is the most apt academic choice for people interested in working at the non-profit sector especially from a prestigious school such as IBA.
During my MBA, I was awarded Fulbright scholarship to pursue my Masters in Public Affairs from the USA for which I took a two years sabbatical from the program at IBA. My experience at a public policy school made me realize how my past education in the business administration field has been extremely useful in understanding various facets of the non-profit sector. Through my learning at IBA, I was able to understand different dilemmas faced by managers especially in terms of making decisions on efficient and effective allocation of resources which is also an important concern in the non-profit sector. My understanding of finance and management concepts through IBA has also facilitated me in conducting different types of analysis and process improvements while working for a non-profit organization in the USA.
After graduating with a MBA degree, I want to pursue a career in a non-profit organization where I can use my knowledge and experience to improve the lives of poor or helpless people especially by facilitating them in achieving self-sufficiency.
