PERSONAL STATEMENT
A couple hundred years ago Benjamin Franklin shared with the world 
the secret of his success. Never leave that till tomorrow, which you can 
do today. For me, success means what I am adding to myself every day. 
My undergraduate degree and my experience of working with GSK and 
TRG did truly nurture and augmented my interpersonal and leadership 
skills. However whilst this was an extremely fulfilling and educational 
period, after two successful years it became apparent to me that if I 
wanted to continue challenging  myself and benefit from a meaningful 
professional development, I needed to broaden my skill-set, deepen my 
knowledge and understanding further. This bought me back to my alma 
mater.
For my graduate studies I sought an institution that would enable me to 
fulfill my educational goal of being an authority in my field of study and 
provide me with an environment where I feel challenged to push my 
abilities to the limit. I found IBA to be a perfect match because of its 
world renowned faculty and highly competitive student body that gave 
me the opportunity to excel, both by the first hand learning experience 
and working alongside some of the best minds in the field. The MBA 
program not only helped me to hone the soft skills required to be a good 
manager, but also  allowed me to specialize further in the field of finance 
and marketing and broaden my perspective. Additionally by attracting 
students from various industries and diverse backgrounds, the program 
gave me the opportunity to interact and work with different people and 
different ideas. I relished the team based environment IBA provided 
since it gave me the opportunity to lead by example and share my 
knowledge with fellow students in order to aid their understanding and 
to receive feedback on my own ideas. Through all my projects and other 
endeavors I liked to maintain an approach of learning through 
independent effort.
Equipped with an MBA degree, I want to embark on a professional 
journey working in a challenging environment for a growth oriented 
organization. I bring with myself a strong grasp of the fundamentals of 
an assortment of subjects in Finance and Marketing; a hunger to greater 
learning; and a zest for challenges and team work.
