• SAP Software Survey: Conducted a survey with Assistance General Manager of Ghulam Farooque Groups, talked about the vouchers, codes of chart of accounts, number of accounts etc. This project helped me to test my knowledge about SAP and exposed me towards first-hand experience in corporate world
• Financial Model: Prepared a complete new Financial Model as part of our course - Financial Modelling. Our Financial Model consisted of future projects of Cash Flow, Balance Sheet and Income statement. Moreover, we also forecasted FCFF and FCFE with the help of WACC. The financial model consisted of various variables like Interest rate, tax rates, exchange rates and many more which were predicted considering past and present political and global corporate conditions.

A multinational company with a diverse environment to work in was a pleasure for me. The Manager of Finance Department - Mr.Altaf Jamal - made sure that I was learning new everyday and he also made sure that whatever I am learning I am also able to apply efficiently as well. I was able to learn and work all the major operations done by the finance department - with the help of daily rotations. I successfully worked on SAP Software, managed Account Payable of company's local and foreign payments, Worked of their own Customized Accounting BPS Software and also made New Chart of Accounts for company from scratch, helped their Asset Auditing team with their task either it be physical inspection or documentation. In addition to this, I learned and helped the financial reporting team with finalizing semi-annual financial report. Furthermore, Tax Related activities were also looked after by me – I reconciled numerous tax amounts and updated them as well. Lastly, because of my communication skills, leadership qualities and knowledge I was leading 4 other interns working there during my time period from different universities – IOBM. I was also regarded as company’s best intern.

The Internship fundamentally went on for about a month and a half, with bunch individuals around the world and we were needed to team up and work for the organization – new work environment for all of us. The company rotated us around the departments with new supervisors weekly - this helped us polishing our interpersonal communication. I worked with each employee in their Finance Department, Marketing Department and Admin Department. I effectively invested my most energy in Finance Department where my core interest lies. I figured out how to be a Leader for a group and I was such an effective leader that later the company always assigned me position of Team Leader in every task. I had consistently gone about as an initiator for my group and a light in a total obscurity. I dealt with their everyday account exercises and at last in the wake of understanding their method for working I furnished them with my input of how they can function more proficiently. I provided them with financial models, ready-to-use excel sheet for their daily operations for easy record keeping and much more. My input was profoundly valued, and they actualized the tools I gave them
