The reason for doing an MBA is that for engineers it introduces them with an ability of multitasking, so that they may not stumble in the market for e.g. after the acquisition of management skills he/she is not going to rely completely on his/her technical skills; if they couldn't get job in any of company's technical department they may not loose moral, thus opt for the second option. Usually, when this shift takes place people left off with their technical skills, and adapted management side. Being an honest person, I think there is no harm in doing so. In fact, it's an advantage now one can understand circumstances in a more systematic way, because if your economy is not performing well, then companies will start to lay off their employees no matter what. Why IBA? Since I graduated from NED, so I always had dreamt of to either be a part of IBA or LUMS, because these institutes provide quality of education not just only in terms of theoretically but also practically.
