Abbott Laboratories (Pakistan) Limited | Capital Structure and Dividend Policy Analysis: Calculated extensive quantitative data to analyze the FCFF, FCFE, payout ratios, capital structure ratio, cost of debt and equity. Applied the CAPM model to reach an accurate estimate for the cost of equity. Prepared an in-depth analysis of change in the capital structure of the company over the 5-year period, considering the firm size ad nature of business. Payout policies were also analyzed, and comments were made on the optimal capital structure for the firm based on cost of debt and equity. Future projections were made on policies for by the company based on historical figures.
Engro Fertilizers | Risk, Return and Financial Analysis : Prepared the quantitative analysis using raw data of 5 years financial statements to complete a vertical and horizontal trend analysis with financial ratios. Furthermore, calculated the overall risk and return of the company in comparison with the market using CAPM model, using market price of the stock for 5 years. Analyzed the financial health and performance of the company, in comparison with the market and competitors. Comments were made on the relative riskiness of the stock, assigning year-wise reasons for the specific beta figure and linking the stock’s market performance with the accounting performance.
