As a Research Intern at the Institute of Global Health and Development, Aga Khan University, my role involves active participation in
various research projects aimed at advancing our understanding of global health issues. Primarily, I have been engaged in two
significant projects. 1. **SDG Progress Analysis:** - Conducting in-depth analysis of the progress made towards achieving Health and
health-related Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). - Examining and interpreting extensive datasets to evaluate healthcare
outcomes and the impact of policies and interventions. - Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to draw insights and conclusions
from the gathered data. 2. **Wealth Index Development using PSLM Data:** - Working on the development of a wealth index using
Pakistan's Social and Living Standards Measurement (PSLM) data from the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS). - Engaging in data
manipulation, statistical analysis, and the utilization of software tools such as Stata, PowerBi, and R for meaningful results. -
Contributing to the creation of socio-economic indices that can inform policy decisions related to global health and development.
These responsibilities require a combination of analytical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to contributing to evidence-
based research for the betterment of health outcomes and societal well-being.
